TERMS AND CONDITIONS For a brilliant, professional and efficient move.

EEZI MOVE the leader in furniture removal, furniture transportation, household removal and office relocation is committed to prompt, efficient and friendly service. The following terms and conditions will aid us in facilitating a successful furniture removal and furniture transport service, household removal and office move and relocation.

Please ensure that said terms and conditions are strongly adhered to at all times.

 

  1. Inventory listed items:

    • It is important to be meticulous in compiling your inventory list. All items that require transportation must be indicated on your inventory list.
       
    • Please inform us of any changes on your inventory list in advance as it will ensure that the appropriate vehicle and crew is reserved / sent / on hand to facilitate / oversee your move efficiently.
       
    • All changes must be made in writing and sent to us via fax or E-mail.
       
    • Only items indicated on your inventory list will be transported / moved.
       
    • No negotiations regarding work not quoted for with the crew / staff / workforce will be tolerated and if caught, the crew will be dismissed.
        
    • Changes on your inventory will have cost implications.
       
    • All items must be of a nature that 2 men must be able to carry and load it.
       
    • Owner packed cartons with fragile items must be clearly marked.
       
  2. Special wrapping of your valuables:

    • This service comes highly recommended for the protection of your belongings. Please ask your consultant for more information.

  3. Accessibility:

    • The accessibility of your premises is of utmost importance.
       
    • Please asses the accessibility of your premises and indicate it clearly on the inventory list documents. This includes height (trees & branches as well), width and tonnage restrictions. Should you be a resident in an estate or complex, please consult your body corporate for help on accessibility.
       
    • If any uncertainty arises about access to your premises, please notify us prior to your move. A company representative will assist you in analyzing your premises and make special arrangements if necessary.
       
    • Should the distance from our truck to your front door exceed 25 meters there will be cost implications, calculated on the size of the load and the distance your goods should be carried / shuttled.
       
    • Please arrange for suitable parking for the removal truck.
       
      A shuttle vehicle booked, may only be cancelled 72 hours prior to your move. Shuttle vehicles not utilized, on your move, will be charged for.
       
    • Eezi Move enter a clients premises and conduct work as set out in agreement with the client solely on client's liability.

     

  4. Arrival time:

    • Please note that all times given are estimated times of arrival and may vary between 2 - 3 hours. Your patience in this regard is highly appreciated.

  5. Transportation of your goods:

     
    Please ensure that:

    • All electrical and plumbing must be disconnected prior to your move.
       
    • All items must be properly packed by the time of the move as no unpacked goods will be moved / handled / transported.
       
    • All owner packed cartons must be properly sealed with adhesive tape.
       
    • Please ensure that all the items listed on your inventory list are loaded by our team prior to the departure of the vehicle as EEZI MOVE will not return for "forgotten items".
        
    • Please inspect the vehicle subsequent to the offloading for goods which might have stayed behind.
       
    • Seals are available at driver to have truck sealed between addresses. Please insist on the usage hereof. (Not available on open trucks.)
       
    • Please complete our quality control forms - this will assist us in keeping our service up to standard.
       
  6. Pot plants:
     
    • Small/Medium pot plants - must be carried and loaded by 2 men. NO Large Pot Plants!!
       
    • All leaves and branches must be bound/tied by client

  7. Storage:

    • Our storage facilities are clean and we have a security guard on duty 24 hours a day.
       
    • We offer no insurance on goods in storage whatsoever. Should you require insurance for goods in storage, please make arrangements with your own insurance company.
       
    • Goods in storage will be sold to defray costs on all storage accounts in access of 120 days.
       
    • Unless arranged prior to going to storage, NO individual items will be removed from storage until redelivery off ALL items. NO clients allowed in Eezi Move Storage
       
    • A general price increase of storage fees might occur annually.

       
  8. No alcoholic beverages are to be served / handed to our staff.
     
  9. Neither EEZI MOVE nor staff members will in any way be held responsible for damages of any kind NOT covered by relevant insurance.
     
  10. Payment: (We regret that we do NOT accept cheques or cheque deposits)
     
    • Cash - Prior to on loading to the driver. (Driver will have invoice)
       
    • Credit Card - (Master and Visa only) Min 1 day prior to your move & during office hours (07:30 - 16:30).
      No cheque deposits.

       
    • Internet Transfer - (Proof of payment). No cheque deposits. Min 1 day prior to your move & during office hours (07:30 - 16:30)
       
    • All invoices must be settled prior to offloading - if not, goods will be taken to storage and redelivered at a date & time convenient for Eezi Move. NOTE that all storage and redelivery costs will be charged.

     

  11. Cancellation / Postponements
     
    • 72 Hours prior to your move - Written notice of cancellations / postponements of a move to our office
       
    • Cancellation fee - 50%
       
    • Postponement fee - 10%

  12. Long Distance Quotes

     

    • All Part Load quotes confirmed is subject to other confirmed loads on the same route.
       
    • Should cancellations of other loads occur, customers quoted and booked for Part Loads, must accept the fact that dates and times may vary.
       
    • Eezi Move does in no way guarantee delivery times and dates on any Part Loads.
       
    • Eezi Move offer FREE Storage in Cape Town and Gauteng for any Part Load awaiting deliveries

       
  13. No refunds whatsoever on any Special Wrapping not utilized - if ordered it will be used.
